Creating a Community of Christian Scholars in Tertiary Education.

The Need

Welcome to Australian Christian Tertiary Education Ltd, who see an urgent need to transform Christian education culture through the development of a full Christian University, where academic excellence meets spiritual growth. Our vision is for a holistic education that integrates faith, learning, and service. Regardless of their field of study, students will be equipped to become leaders in the field they choose – they will become lights of the world (Matthew 5:14).

Our Response

We seek to develop and advance the Christian tertiary education system in Australia, and internationally, in a way that allows joy in the Creator to accompany the discovery and learning of knowledge. It will require establishing a Christian community of scholars actively involved in teaching, research and community service in ways that glorify God and subscribe to its Statement of Faith. It points to the need for a new, privately based Christian university.

In Science and Technology multiple programs will delve into the marvels of the created natural world and cutting-edge technology. From pure science to computer science, undergraduates and postgraduates will experience rigorous coursework while encouraging critical thinking and innovation. Such programs will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical framework necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing technological landscape.

In the broad fields of Human Studies, the complexities of human behaviour, society, and culture will be explored. Whether one aspires to become a counsellor, social and disability worker, or educator, our programs will offer a comprehensive understanding of human development and social dynamics, by engaging in meaningful dialogue, experiential learning opportunities, and community service initiatives.

Diverse programs in Business and Commerce provide opportunities to develop and experience banking and finance, marketing, business law, human resource management, along with enterprise and innovation, global business and more. These programs will be founded on biblical values and principles, of ensuring truth, justice and biblically derived wisdom.

Our numerous Theology and Christian Studies programs help deepen an understanding of the Christian faith and its relevance to contemporary issues. These prepare students to serve as ethical leaders and agents of transformation in churches, communities, and beyond. Students will explore the rich tradition of Christian thought while cultivating a personal faith that informs every aspect of their life and vocation.
